Hi! I'm Rue, a women’s health and wellness coach dedicated to helping you define your goals, design a personalized strategy, and implement a sustainable training program that fits your lifestyle. I founded BodyGoals Fitness to create a welcoming and supportive space where women can reframe their relationship with their bodies by focusing on positive, performance-based goals rather than unrealistic standards.
With over two decades of training experience—from pre- to postpartum, through motherhood, and now navigating perimenopause—I’ve seen firsthand how strength-based training combined with mindful nutrition can optimize wellness, improve metabolic function, and promote longevity. My mission is to guide you through this process, empowering you to take control of your health and fitness journey.

Proper form is my top priority—I want to ensure you get the most value out of every exercise. While my training sessions are focused and results-driven, I also love to bring excitement and fun into the process, making fitness an enjoyable journey rather than just another task.
In December 2019, I transformed my approach to training from an unstructured, aspirational mindset to one centered on personal growth both inside and outside the gym. This shift ignited my passion for helping others do the same. My mission is to empower women with the encouragement and knowledge they need to feel strong, powerful, and confident in their bodies.

I first got into fitness in 2007 when I started competing in triathlons. It wasn’t until 2014 after having my second baby that I learned how good nutrition & strength training played key roles in helping my hormones, sleeping better, feeling better overall, and getting in the best shape.
I’m a former school teacher and got certified as a personal trainer in 2013 and have been teaching fitness classes ever since. I love to train other women because I can relate to so many struggles that people have in their health & fitness journeys. I also have a diverse fitness background growing up as an athlete, triathlete, working out through pregnancies, and growing strong postpartum and beyond.
I love to encourage others and share my joy of health & fitness with people!
